Summary:
Inspired by the true story of Cardinal Josef Mindszenty's persecution and trial in Hungary, this documentary/propaganda style film examines the Hungarian Communist regime which rose to power after Nazi rule. Cardinal Mindszenty is labeled a traitor by the regime subjugated by dictator Joseph Stalin. American correspondent Tom Kelly shows up in Budapest to investigate. False arrests and mysterious disappearances envelop the brave souls who dared follow the Cardinal's anti-communist lead.
