"The necropolis" collects nostalgic stories about places in Warsaw that do not exist anymore and the people who were associated with these legendary places--mostly writers, artists, and friends of the author, including Jerzy Andrzejewski, Artur Miedzyrzecki, Julian Stryjkowski, Janusz Szpotanski, and Wlodzimierz Sokorski.
