Summary:

During the Liberation of Paris, at the close of World War II, he meets and falls in love with a beautiful rich girl. They marry and have a lovely daughter together. But life's harsh realities threaten to tear their love apart. Giant (1956): Bick Benedict, his society-gilded wife, and three generations of land-rich Texas sons and daughters love, swagger, connive, and clash in a monumental drama of family strife, racial bigotry, and conflict between cattle barons and newly-rich oil tycoons. A Place in the Sun (1951): Adaptation of 'An American Tragedy, ' a story of a man's aspirations to the high life which are threatened by his lover's pregnancy. Little Women (1949): Louisa May Alcott's Civil War story of four sisters who share their loves, their joys, and their sorrows.
