Summary:
Static: Life has passed by a grouchy old man until an antique radio begins broadcasting programs from his youth which only he hears. Four o'clock: A political fanatic decides he will eliminate all of his enemies at 4:00 PM by shrinking them. But his plan proves short-sighted. The parallel: An astronaut finds himself back on Earth, in a world similar to his own but things are not quite right--even his wife and daughters are strangers.
