Summary:

Journalist Buck Williams and airline pilot Rayford Steele witness airplane passengers disappearing into thin air. After they find out that this wasn't an isolated incident, both men set out on different paths in a search for answers. Williams' path leads him to the head of the United Nations, who may know more than he is telling.
