Summary:
Begins in the mid-60's, when John was a rising star who decided on a solo career much to the chagrin of his father, but to the delight of his new wife, Annie. Covers John's fame and success, but also the behind-the-scenes details about marital strain, his growing problem with alcohol and his curious development of isolationism. A sad tale of a man whose natural high kept so many hurt and doubting people going.
