Summary:

Originally released theatrically in 1961.
Mahesh returns home after completing his education abroad and falls in love with Uma, his childhood friend, but his mother does not approve to their marriage; inspite of all his struggle, he does not succed in getting married to his love, as she dies as soon as he meets her after the death of his parents. Later he donates all his property to rural poor and leaves for pilgrimage.
