Summary:
John Hawks is a hard working college student and football star from out west who meets the easterner heiress Alison Corning at a party. She is put off by Hawks' humble origins, so to impress her, Hawks takes a job with her father on Wall Street but is unwilling to sacrifice his honor and character to make the greedy company money at the expense of others.
