Special features on both the set of Blu-ray discs and the set of DVD videodiscs include an interview with filmmaker Peter Bogdanovich, an interview with critic Molly Haskell, an interview with film scholar Lee Clark Mitchell, audio excerpts from a 1972 conversation between Hawks and Bogdanovich, audio excerpts from a 1970 interview with novelist and screenwriter Borden Chase, and the Lux Radio Theatre 1949 adaptation of Red River, featuring John Wayne, Joanne Dru, and Walter Brennan.
