Summary:
Where the red fern grows (2003, 97 min.): Billy Coleman, a boy growing up in the Ozarks of Oklahoma, is desperate for his own hunting dogs. He scrimps and saves to make his dream a reality and his investment pays off when he and his dogs Old Dan and Lil' Ann win the top prize at the annual raccoon hunting contest.
Proud rebel (1958, 103 min.): John Chandler is traveling the country with his son, David, and their sheep dog, Lance, in search of a doctor who can help David speak. But when financing the treatment becomes a concern, John must make the difficult decision between helping his son or preserving the friendship between the boy and his dog.
Seven alone (1974, 96 min.): Spring 1842. America's unclaimed and unexplored land drew thousands of settlers to the West including the Sager family. After both parents succumbed in the untamed wilderness, their seven children courageously continued the journey their parents began.
