Summary:
Charlie Chan, along with his enthusiastic "number-two son," Tommy, and his chauffeur, Birmingham, are brought to New Orleans to investigate the mysterious goings-on with the partners at the LaFontanne Chemical Company Soon after, the head of the company is found dead, and a series of unexplainable deaths follow the investigation.
