Introduction / Suzanne Pagé -- Conversation / Ellsworth Kelly & Robert Storr -- Works from the collection -- Kelly, living the space of color / Ann Hindry -- Biographical note / Francesca Pietropaolo.
Summary:
Ellsworth Kelly realized the stage curtain and five monochrome panels for the auditorium of the Louis Vuitton Foundation building designed by Frank Gehry. Continuing his reflection on the color, shape, line and space, the artist, who has always wanted to interact painting and architecture, has created a work that vibrates in space as musical notes. This first edition of the Journal of the Louis Vuitton Foundation is dedicated to this unique work in Europe, as well as a series of paintings and prints belonging to the Foundation's collection.
