Now a fragile ninety-two, Anna Madrigal has seemingly found peace with her 'logical family' in San Francisco. Some of them are bound for Burning Man, the are community in Nevada. Anna has another Nevada destination in mind: the town which holds the whorehouse and home that the sixteen-year-old boy she used to be ran away from. There she will unearth secrets and dreams and attend to unfinished business she has long avoided.
