Summary:
Petrified forest (1936, 82 min.): A rundown diner bakes in the Arizona heat. Inside, a fugitive killer sweats out a manhunt, holding a writer and young waitress hostage.
Amazing Dr. Clitterhouse (1938, 87 min.): Dr. Clitterhouse wants to find out what makes a criminal tick. Eager to study the physical and mental state of lawbreakers, he joins a gang of jewel thieves.
High Sierra (1941, 101 min.): A gangster's hard-boiled persona finds itself at war with his compassionate side, a side that will ultimately be his downfall.
All through the night (1941, 107 min.): A big shot gambler investigating the murder of his favorite German baker stumbles upon a Nazi plot to blow up an American warship and is framed for murder.
