After almost losing her farm to a devious businessman, Maddie sees a chance to win it back and finally have the opportunity to open it up to those who are hurting. With Maddie's family expanding and all of them living close by, each accomplishing the dreams God planted in them, she realizes her dream requires more than a comfortable cottage and a big house for hurting residents to heal. The little town of Jacob's Bend becomes a safe haven for Maddie as she becomes acquainted with its business owners while working in her friend's shop, O'Donnell's Brier. Will Maddie find a way to fill the void that keeps her from fully giving herself to one who promises to never leave or forsake her?
