"Este libro nace de la reflexión sobre cómo la literatura en acción, tanto la que escribimos como la que leemos, pone en marcha un doble movimiento imaginativo y memorístico. Leer y escribir literatura solo es posible si nuestra condición imaginativa y nuestro poder de hacer memoria llevan a cabo sus negociaciones. Las narraciones actuales de la memoria se proponen precisamente como ese espacio de negociación: una construcción política, ética y estética que, en su encuentro complejo y problemático con la temporalidad, nos hacen experimentar la urgencia de miradas teóricas y creativas imaginativamente fértiles. En esta monografía, se analizan obras de la narrativa hispánica del siglo XXI cuya experimentación literaria busca el modo de hacer memoria sin clausurar el pasado y sin olvidar el futuro.
