Based on the story "A Maker of Gestures" by John Monk Saunders. "Too Many Kisses was produced by Famous Players-Lasky Corp. and released in six reels on March 2, 1925. The film was considered lost until author and film historian Robert S. Birchard discovered a 16mm reduction of the print of the 35mm camera negative in the collection of Irvin V. Willst in 1971. The American Film Institute created the new negative upon which this restoration is based. The negative was donated to the Library of Congress as part of AFI/Irvin V. Willst Collection. Film Preservation Society completed this restoration in June 2020."-- Intro to title card.
