Summary:
Vera Cruz is set in Mexico in the 1860's. Two American adventurers (Cooper and Lancaster) sign up to escort a carriage from the palace of Maximilian in Mexico City to the seaport of Vera Cruz. Aboard the carriage is a beautiful French countess (Darcel) and a treasure of three million dollars in gold coins.
