In his last expedition of the kind, Robert Ballard sets out to find the wreckage of one more ocean liner, the Empress of Ireland, which sank in the St. Lawrence River in May of 1914, following a collision with another ship. The video offers an overview of the luxury liner era, background on both the Titanic and Lusitania sinkings, footage of Ballard's discovery of those two vessels and pictures of the submerged Empress.
