500 $a "250 standard copies of this little book were printed and given away. They contain 17 original tipped-in stamps. 100 copies (90 for sale) contain 44 stamps and are housed in a box made by Stephen Byrne replicating a Victorian English postbox. All are bound in quarter cloth and a repeat pattern paper based on a design by Clare Melinsky. The specials contain dummy stamps using unadopted designs by Andrew Davidson & Clare Melinsky. John Lawrence designed a new one for the book, and all three were printed by Juergen Schwarz at YourStamps, Berlin. The book was set in 8 point Baskerville by Harry McIntosh at Speedspools, Edinburgh and printed on Zerkall rosa paper. Bound by the Fine Book Bindery." Two-page colophon.
500 $a Special Collections has a special copy without the replica box; note on Colophon page [2] "Casting difficulties limited the postboxes to 80. This book is one of 20 copies which are not housed in a postbox, but otherwise complete. [signed] Simon Lawrence. 5/11/11." $5 IaU
