Why must my family pay the price for my husband's mistake? Life isn't easy when you live with a guilty conscience and it certainly isn't easy when you are married to an imperfect man. But for the sake of my children, I am trying to put the past behind us and there is no better time to do that than this year. With my daughter turning 21, and my son celebrating his 18th, the time is right for a family trip. At least that is what my husband thinks. Jack has always been an impulsive man, though what he is suggesting now is troubling. He wants to take our children back to the place where they grew up, and they want to go too. But there's one problem. It's the same place where my husband made his fateful mistake, although only me and him know it. It's a bad idea, but saying no would make me a bad mother. My family want to go. I don't. Something has to give. So we go... That's when I realize it's not just my husband who is capable of making mistakes...
