Summary:
The lion, the witch and the wardrobe: When young Second World War evacuee Lucy Pevensie hides in an old wardrobe during a game of hide and seek, she finds herself transported to the magical land of Narnia, locked in eternal winter by the evil White Witch. Her siblings do not believe her when she tells them of this strange new world, but they are soon in Narnia themselves, fighting alongside the noble lion Aslan to defeat the witch and her mighty army. Prince Caspian: Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy are waiting on the tube to return to school, when they are whisked off to a gorgeous beach they soon recognize as Narnia. But this isn't the same Narnia as before -- 1,300 years have passed, the country's golden age is over, and most of their old friends are gone. Narnia is now a troubled land ruled by the Telmarines, led by evil Lord Miraz. Their mission is to help Prince Caspian, the rightful heir to Narnia's throne, regain the kingdom. Voyage of the Dawn Treader: When Lucy and Edmund Pensive, along with their cousin Eustace, are swallowed into a painting and transported back to Narnia, they join King Caspian and a noble mouse named Reepicheep aboard the magnificent ship The Dawn Treader. The courageous voyagers travel to mysterious islands, confront mystical creatures, and reunite with the Great Lion Aslan on a mission that will determine the fate of Narnia itself! The Silver Chair: Eustace and his friend Jill Pole are sent to Narnia to go on a search and rescue mission for the missing Prince Rilian, who is held captive in the underground kingdom of the Emerald Witch.
