Summary:
When a little girl's missionary parents are killed by Chinese bandits, Ching-Ching must fend for herself on the dangerous streets of Shanghai. Climbing into an open car trunk, she wakes up to find herself on a ship bound for America. The car's owner offers to marry another passenger to give the girl a proper home, but when they later decide to divorce, Ching-Ching must keep them together.
