Summary:
Toraji is a yakuza who stopped smiling after a childhood incident. He re-discovers the joy of laughter while collecting debts from a Rakugo performer, Donbei, and asks him to teach Rakugo stories in payment for debts despite his lack of talent. Toraji meets Ryūji, Donbei's son, who is a natural Rakugo story-teller, but now stays away from Rakugo and manages an uncool clothing shop. Together they get into one trouble after another.
