This tale of a vain king, his deceitful advisers and the meek peasants who refuse to speak the truth to avoid ridicule has become an idiom still in much use today. For children, it is good to be exposed to this original tale about misguided adults and a pure and innocent boy who boldly declares: 'You are naked!'.
