Summary:
Puck the Undefeated is a prince of the strongest clan in the desert realm of Amaranthia, where magic-both good and evil-can only be won by the slaying of its possessor. He and his brother, Sin, are the best of friends, despite an ancient prophecy by the Oracles that claims either Puck or Sin will murder the other in order to gain control of their father's crown. The two vow to work together to unite the five clans... until Sin betrays Puck, making a deal with the devil to ensure Puck is possessed by the demon of Indifference and no longer has any desire to rule. Though Puck weakens anytime an emotion overtakes him, he finds the will to visit the Oracles one last time and learns he can punish Sin for his crime and also secure his rightful crown . but only with the help of William the Ever Randy and a human named Gillian Shaw, the object of William's fascination. To gain their aid, Puck convinces a dying Gillian to bond with him, making her immortal. He then tells William that he will break the bond, giving Gillian back to him, only when Puck is king. The problem is, Puck's desire for Gillian cannot be muted by Indifference, and only grows stronger. Knowing he cannot have his war and his woman, he fights his feelings. Together, these three enter a treacherous maze and face different physical, mental and emotional challenges, and discover the most heart-throbbing love triangle paranormal romance has ever seen.
