Summary:
Planet Earth is in peril thanks to a rogue army of alien robots. It will be up to a small group of humans to mount a crippling counterattack. Now, Sheriff Hadley Ryan, a doctor and an ex-Marine will need to find the automatons' Achilles' heel before they succeed in annihilating civilization. This is the backstory of the alien-robot invasion that conquered Earth and forced human survivors underground.
