Summary:
A retrospective re-issue of the first six albums from Creed Taylor's Impulse jazz label (originally released Jan.-Nov., 1961), with additional tracks including three previously unreleased rehearsal tracks from Africa/Brass. Also includes accompanying hardcover guide of essays and color reproductions of the original LP covers and liner notes.
