Summary:
Anna Neagle gives one of her best loved performances as Queen Victoria in this British film account of the life of Queen Victoria and the shaping of the British nation. One of the first great British films made in full colour, it was a huge box office success with its spectacular use of period costumes and settings, filmed at Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, Osborne House, St. James Palace and Balmoral, which added an air of authenticity to the film.
