Summary:

In 2008 Sudan, young Nya is walking the two hours from her home to the pond where she draws water routinely. Back in 1985, Salva becomes a 'lost boy' as he wanders the country in search of his family. During his journey, he crosses lions, crocodiles, and armed rebels.
