Summary:
Diggstown (1992, 98 min.): This witty film portrays offbeat characters who live for sparring, betting and swindling. Triumph of the spirit (1989, 120 min.): Based on the real life experiences of Salamo Arouch, a middle-weight boxing champion of the Balkan countries. Captured by the Nazis in 1943, Arouch was sent to one of their death camps where he was forced to fight over 200 opponents for the entertainment of SS officers. His survival and the survival of his family and others in his barracks depended upon his remaining champion.
