IaU "The patterned papers were designed and created with software developed by Warren Stringer and Beth Regardz of the Rod & Cone Company. The type was set in Janson and formatted with Aldus PageMaker on a Macintosh. The pages were output on a Linotronic; then photo-engraved in order to be letterpress printed and a handbound by Peter and Donna Thomas"--Colophon. Book includes samples of handmade moriki paper decorated with computer generated designs applied with a laser printer. Title from half title and title page. Half title: RoCoCo papers. Printed letterpress from photoengravings on white handmade Japanese Torinoko paper; digital Janson type, set by Beth Regardz. Ten paper samples are Rococo-patterned papers, laser printed on handmade Japanese Moriki paper using multiple layers of metallic foils. Made by Peter and Donna Thomas in collaboration with Beth Regardz and Warren Stringer. -- UWM digital exhibit. One of the first miniature books printed using polymer plates.
