Private Matty Giaconne spends his days in Afghanistan disarming IEDs and making lists, like his list of top five close calls, and generally distracting himself from problems with his wife at home; but when an apparently routine search around Camp Loman leads to a firefight and a brush with death, Matty starts to reassess his priorities.
