It encourages offenders to take responsibility for their actions. It provides community members the opportunity to become actively involved in the process of resolving conflict. The video explores how restorative justice projects can build relationships in communities and increase their capacity to address conflict, including crimes of violence, in a manner that is respectful of each person's dignity.
