Summary:
Kamal Hasan is an autistic person only good at obeying what his trusted grandmother says. In an attempt to help a widow with a 5-year old son, he marries her during an auspicious village festival much to the shock of villagers who in turn try to harm Kamal as this act of his stands against the traditional societal norms. The widow who is now married tries to save her husband and moves to the city for a better living. With an able support from few of their fellow villagers settled in the city and from Radhika's erstwhile music guru, the family settles down and life for them from then on looks good and promising.
