Summary:
A gang led by Neil McCauley robs an armored truck in downtown L.A. and a guard is killed. Vincent Hanna, a homicide cop, investigates and identifies McCauley as his prey. The two men meet, talk about their lives and warn each other that, if forced to, they'll take each other down. McCauley decides to pull one final bank robbery and leave the country. The robbery goes smoothly, but small betrayals and Hanna's sure understanding of his adversary allows the net to tighten around McCauley.
