As the holiday season approaches, Beth Campbell's bed and breakfast is quiet, and she's looking forward to a little downtime with her boyfriend Sean Pennington. But when unexpected visitors arrive, including her son Brian, his wife, and their children, Beth's plans are turned upside down. Brian is determined to convince his mother to leave Nova Scotia and return home to Ottawa with him, but Beth has other ideas. Meanwhile, Beths daughter Lillie is busy planning her dream bakery and trying to figure out her future with her boyfriend Ryan.
