Summary:
In 1997, Professor John Robinson along with his wife and three children, and Major Don West are chosen to establish a colony on the third planet of the Alpha Centauri system. As they leave Earth, Dr. Zachary Taylor, a sabateur, is trapped aboard the ship, and his extra weight means the ship can't reach Alpha Centauri. Now the ship is lost, and they fight for survival as they search for the way home.
