Film clips from some of his best loved movies are intercut with anecdotes and reminiscences from such legendary figures as Bette Davis, Billy Wilder, Lillian Hellman, John Huston and Wyler himself. The love trap is a part-silent, part-sound motion picture about a fired chorus girl who is rescued by a young businessman and then must set an elaborate trap for his uncle to regain her new husband's confidence.
