Although disc and container are still marked "c2002 Toxic Comedy Pictures" and "97 minutes," this film was re-edited to 93 minutes and re-released on DVD in 2004 to reflect the changed medical diagnosis for one of the original participants.
Summary:
With humor, chutzpah, and a piece of vinyl siding in hand, Judith Helfand and Daniel B. Gold travel to America's vinyl manufacturing capital and beyond in search of the truth about vinyl. They set out to uncover PVC's true human and environmental costs and, ultimately, to find an alternative material to replace the newly-installed vinyl on the home of Judith Helfand's parents.
