Summary:
"A phone call invites Marco Antonio, a young journalist, to write about the murder of a prominent labor union leader. Unemployed, and with scant hope of finding a job, he accepts. At the same time, a criminal lawyer, Lic. Magaña, is hired in the same way, by telephone, to defend the murder suspect, who was the dead man's mistress. From then on, guided by an anonymous voice on the telephone, which advises, spies, issues orders, each one works on his own assignment, until they are trapped in the game and have to accept or reject the final offer, betting their lives on it"--Container.
