Includes Augustin Calmet's Katholisches Bibel-Wörterbuch, translated by John B. Maus with the approval of James F. Wood, archbishop of Philadelphia. Text contains many small illustrations of Biblical figures and events; also included are approximately 37 full-page illustrations and maps, some in colors and gilt, including portrait of Pope Leo XIII.
