Summary:
The Music man: Harold Hill poses as a boys' band leader to con naive Iowa townsfolk. Yankee Doodle Dandy: A rousing musical depicting the life of George M. Cohan--playwright, entertainer, and composer. Singin' in the rain: Silent movies are giving way to talking pictures, and a hoofer-turned-matinée idol is caught in that bumpy transition, as well as his buddy, prospective ladylove, and shrewish co-star. Seven brides for seven brothers: When the new bride of a roughneck Oregon pioneer finds she has to keep house for her husband's six rowdy brothers, she decides to groom them so that they can find brides of their own. Viva Las Vegas; A young man comes to Las Vegas to win enough money to buy a racing car, but is temporarily distracted from his goal by a lovely swimming instructor.
