Surveys the history of the Drottninghom Court Theatre both as a monument of baroque architecture and as a working theatre. Shows scenes of its auditorium, stage and museum collections of theatrical paintings and costumes, as well as backstage vignettes of actors in the wings and dressing rooms preparing for a Royal Swedish Opera performance of Gluck's Iphigenia in Aulis.
