Summary:
Water is a precious resource that many of us take for granted, but only 1% of the water on this plantet is available for human needs. This program explains the hydrologic cycle and how water is often used, wasted and polluted by industry and agriculture. Other water pollution comes from power plants, toxic wastes in landfills industrial chemicals, and oil spills in the ocean. Some solutions discussed are water conservation, pushing for new legislation to protect water sources, and educationg people.
