Summary:
Homicide: Life on the Street defied the conventions of television police shows with its emphasis on the day-to-day grind of solving cases, instead of sensationalized violence and overwrought melodrama. The television series follows the lives of Baltimore homicide dectectives as they struggle to solve cases and grapple with their own personal demons.
