Summary:
Beginning with Gandhi's tragic assassination at the hands of a Hindu radical and spiraling back to his life as a young attorney, the film leads us through the critical moments that eventually fashioned young Gandhi into the non-violent pillar of strength he later becomes -- with an indomitable resolve which led to India's independence from Great Britain.
