Summary:
A working girl wakes up a murderess after passing out in the apartment of a brutish playboy. She flees leaving behind a blue gardenia, which prompts a sensational columnist to brand her "The Blue Gardenia". Struggling to conceal her involvement with the playboy and to remember the details of that night, she eventually turns for help to the journalist who transformed her into such a notorious public figure.
