Summary:
Pt. 3 dramatizes the short-lived marriage between Henry VIII and Jane Seymour, who died in childbirth after delivering a feeble son destined for the English throne. Pt. 4 dramatizes Henry VIII's marriage to Anne of Cleves, a German princess whom he found useful for consolidating an alliance with Germany but later divorced when his political maneuvers failed.
