Summary:
The film recounts the relationship of a popular author, Igami Kōsaku, and his elderly mother. He was separated from his parents when he was little and grew up away from the family. He is feeling emotionally abandoned even as a grown-up. After his father passed away, he now looks after his mother as the eldest son. While her memory fades as senile dementia progresses, she never forgets about her separated son and keeps looking for him. When Kōsaku learns the truth, they are reconnected.
